Professor John McMurray
Professor John McMurray has been awarded the Eight Edition Arrigo Recordati International Prize for Scientific Research. The prize was awarded for Professor McMurray's contribution in researching secondary prevention and risk reduction strategies for patients with cardiovascular diseases.
Mrs Annie MacCallum
Mrs Annie MacCallum was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to nursing in the Queen’s birthday honours list 2015. This is truly deserved and Annie is a superb role model for heart failure nurses in the UK.
The BSH is lucky to have had Annie as a Board member and Observer for the last eight years and her contributions to the Society have been invaluable. Annie’s commitment, focus and hard work with the development of heart failure services in the UK is benefiting patients immeasurably.

Professor Henry Dargie
Professor Henry Dargie has been awarded the Heart Failure Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is also truly deserved for Henry’s long list of key achievements in heart failure, and deep involvement in and influence on the research, management and treatment of heart failure in the UK. Congratulations Henry!
