British Society for Heart Failure Board Elections 2021

Dear British Society for Heart Failure (BSH) Member,

On behalf of the current BSH Board of Trustees, I am pleased to invite nominations from the membership to stand for election for the new BSH Board, term of office December 2021– 2023.

There are 6 positions available:

  • Chair elect
  • Deputy chair
  • Treasurer
  • Councillor (3 positions)

YOUR VOTE MATTERS
Your involvement in the election process matters to all of us.

The multidisciplinary approach of the BSH is key to its success. We are keen to attract representation from all disciplines involved in the care of heart failure patients and for all members to vote for their chosen candidates.

The results will be announced during the Annual General Meeting taking place during our BSH Annual Autumn Meeting in London on 3rd December, 2021. At this meeting I will hand over Chairpersonship to Professor Roy Gardner. I wish him every success for the next 2 years in this important and rewarding role as we continue to improve outcomes for heart failure patients together.

Nominations for candidates must be received by 5pm on Friday 15th October 2021.

Candidates must be nominated by a current BSH member.

Candidates can submit a short written biography outlining their interests and aspirations for the Society as well as for heart failure, accompanied by an optional 2minute video. Please see the nomination form- https://www.bsh.org.uk/bsh-board-elections-nomination-form-2021/

Voting will be open from 1st Nov – 19th November 2021.
