We have five Committees, each made up of BSH members. Our Committees focus on specific areas of our work and help ensure we are delivering on our mission and charitable purpose .

EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The Education Committee is made up of a multi-disciplinary group of members with expertise in specific areas. They help identify and develop educational tools to compliment all aspects of heart failure care.
The Committee coordinates the education activity of the BSH by sharing knowledge and developing best practice.

NURSE FORUM
The Nurse Forum to advance heart failure nursing practice, ensuring that every patient with heart failure has access to/has the support of a fully skilled, competent heart failure specialist nurse.They act as a central group for BSH nurses helping to share heart failure policy and at the forefront of change.

RESEARCH FORUM
Our Research Forum is focused on promoting high quality research into the health of heart failure patients.
The Forum supports innovation in research, acting as a catalyst for research activity. They also mentor BSH members to conduct research.

STANDARDS & ETHICS COMMITTEE
Our Standards and Ethics Committee oversees the management of Conflicts of Interest, complaints, whlstle blowing and codes of conduct.
They’re also responsible for our endorsements of other individuals, organisations and products/services outside of the BSH.

REGULATORY COMMITTEE
Our Regulatory Committee is responsible for our input into consultations impacting guidance, service design and pathways relating to heart failure.
The Committee acts as the link between NICE and the full BSH Board.
