Lynda Blue Award
This award is in recognition of Lynda Blue, one of the founding members of our Nurse Forum. Lynda’s dedication to the field of heart failure saw her educate, inspire and champion change on an international level to improve standards of care for patients, by helping to standardise heart failure nurse training and development.
This award in her honour recognises professionals who have demonstrated excellence in heart failure care. It is presented to Nurses, Pharmacists and Allied Health Care Professionals who are able to demonstrate one or more of the pillars of Leadership, Innovation, Transformational & Visionary attributes:
Improved patient/family experience of living with heart failure
Enabled an exceptional contribution to heart failure care delivery
Evidence of going above and beyond.

Our tribute to the BSH founding chairman.
This BSH award was created in 2009. It celebrates one of the founding members of the BSH, Philip Poole-Wilson and recognises his enormous input to our Society and to the field of heart failure in general.
We celebrate this award biennually at our Annual Meeting in November.
