Victoria Ruszala
Vicky Ruszala is a specialist pharmacist in cardiology and heart failure at North Bristol NHS Trust. Her focus is trying to improve experiences for those with heart failure, diabetes and renal disease and reducing errors in multi-morbidity care and has developed specialist clinics to see patients with complex heart failure and multi-morbidities, such as those undergoing dialysis or with type 1 diabetes. She is passionate about the role of pharmacists in providing care in long-term conditions and has 12 years of previous experience as a specialist diabetes pharmacist.
Currently she is also working on the redesign of BNSSG cardiac pathways and integrated co-morbidity management for the local region. She has previously held specialist national roles in diabetes and currently sits on the education committee of the British Society of Heart Failure.
